Erica L. Yoder is an Associate Attorney with Day Rettig Martin, P.C.  Her practice includes business formation and transactions, regulatory compliance, debt/creditor matters, bankruptcy issues, and estate planning.

Erica received her undergraduate degree from Central College in Pella, Iowa.  After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree, she worked at art museums in Indiana and Iowa.  Erica then attended the University of Iowa College of Law.  Erica spent over fourteen years working as in-house counsel for a publicly traded insurance company and then two years as in-house counsel for a management consulting firm before opening her own firm in 2017.

Erica was raised on a farm in Iowa County, Iowa, where her family raised corn, soybeans, and stock cattle.  Growing up, she was active in 4-H, taking numerous projects to the Iowa State Fair and winning the national 4-H Achievement Award after her senior year.  Erica is President of her neighborhood association and serves on the Board of Trustees of a local senior living community.  She also serves as the firm contact with the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance.
